If I create the same custom size in Word 2011 it works with out issue If I use TextEdit I can choose the custom page size in the drop down. It has been responsive in the past and I don't think I've added any new wonky font lately. When I try and print from Word 2016 for mac the custom size is not listed in the drop down menu. I have a Mac Pro with El Capitan, bazillions of RAM and four drives, and I can render effects in FCPX in half the time it takes the Word Font Menu to drop down. Is there a cache that I need to purge or something? I had heard that in Windows, Word will sometimes try to repeatedly access drives or servers that no longer exist and that these paths must be cleared manually, but I don't know if that is the same on the Mac or how to do that. What has happened? What is the issue? I don't appear to have any font conflicts or things that don't work, its just this super long delay. And it will be this slow every time I click on it, beach balling for 5 seconds before anything happens. This is despite the fact that I have long ago disabled the WYSIWYG option.
Click on it and wait 5 seconds for it to drop down. Lately, however, the FONT MENU is ridiculously slow to respond. Yeah its old but it has always worked fine for me.
